Introductory to Mead Making:

Mead, also known as "the nectar of the gods" is the oldest known alcohol. It was the drink of vikings and kings and as many things from the past do, is making a comeback!

This will be a hand-on class where you can start your own gallon of mead (if you would like). We'll go over the history of mead, the science of mead, common ingredients, some recipes, and I'll have some tastings available.

Class will likely last 2-3 hours.

Things to bring: mead making kit (if elected) and 2.5lb honey (if making mead) I encourage people to order a mead making kit if they would like to start a gallon.
